THE EXCHANGE music hall opens in December 2025
Inspiring and artful constructions abound recently in this part of Downtown Roanoke. With Emily Herr’s Gigantic Mural and parkspace across the street and Parkway Brewing Company arrival soon to the Bower building, downtown gathering spots revitalize to flourish, and we celebrate the effort.

Isaac Hadden
Isaac Hadden is a phenomenal guitarist and vocalists from Blacksburg, living in Asheville, and regularly performs in Roanoke and the region. He is also a featured artist on The Local Jam mural we produced with artist Rita Brame on Draper Road in Downtown Blacksburg.
Recorded here in December 2025 playing ‘Get Back’ with D.J. Williams at Five Points Music Sanctuary.
Paul McCartney wrote this song as a satire on Britain’s immigration policy in 1969, as in “Get Back Packi’s”. ICE agents had recently used lethal force on two citizens protesting America’s immigration, causing extended public outcry about the deaths.
You can see the recording process in Peter Jackson’s epic “Get Back” documentary.

Mia Blanco
The prolific local rapper does amazing work in the studio, on camera, and live; a trifecta in the current music industry.
Critical Response: Smart strong swift stabbing and clear raps with a lot of bars in two and half minutes. AND excellent sound/beats production WITH a long take video shot under the Roanoke Star overlooking the city and a hanging mic! A simple Concept with a tour-de-force technique shines in the raw. Great work!!!
