Print #50 Dogtown Roadhouse Christmas
This large-sized original drawing by Rita Brame was originally scheduled to be the cover of Print Issue #50, and choosing “Alice in Roanoke Land” was a tough call.
Dogtown has been a beacon for traveling and local band for decades now, a prime example of the multiple lives of renovated spaces, as Rita based this picture on a photograph of the building from 1920s when it was a sewing factory, with whitewalls on the Model T’s shined for Show Night.
We look forward to including the excellent artistic community of Floyd County moreso in 2025 and recently welcomed Charlie Brouwer onto our Board.
This makes for an excellent print, and the original is available for viewing by Appointment at the Aurora Studio Center.
